I have designed, paged, created copy and styled many homeware catalogues and also been involved with creating marketing material for trade fairs. I work alongside an excellent photographer to create the right settings and ambience for each catalogue along with individual product shots. I also do all photo retouching and final file creation for print and digital publication. The objective is to create a catalogue that looks visually inviting without forgetting that the content must be conveyed effectively.
I really enjoyed creating various designs specifically for the New Zealand souvenir market for a homeware company. Although restricted to 2 colours for each design, I wanted them to have a fun, strong graphic look. I also wanted local New Zealand folk to buy them for their daily use, or as gifts for overseas friends.
'Funky Tweets' collection is a range including the NZ Fantail, Tui, Pukeko and Kiwi. Each bird design was applied to tea-towels, melamine trays, coasters and cork placemats.
'Funky Flora' collection is a range of New Zealand flowers: Kowhai, Flax, Pohutukawa and Manuka. The designs were applied to tea-towels, coasters and cork placemats.
'Tiki Love' design applied to tea-towels, coasters, cork placemats, melamine trays and mugs.

Littlecove cushions is an ever-changing collection. All handstitched, the graphics are created from felt and the cushions can work as a pair or on their own. Watch this space for evolving designs.
